Meet Our Pastor
Pastor J. Jermaine Clark is the Senior Pastor of Holy Land Missionary Baptist Church, doing ministry as Truth & Life Church, in Houston, Texas. A passionate preacher, teacher, and servant leader, he is committed to proclaiming the Gospel of Jesus Christ with clarity, conviction, and compassion.

Born and raised in Houston, Texas, Pastor Clark was shaped by a strong spiritual foundation through his family, church heritage, and love for God’s Word. His roots in Holy Land Missionary Baptist Church run deep, and his connection to the ministry is both personal and spiritual.

After sensing God’s hand upon his life for many years, Pastor Clark accepted the call to preach in October 2024 under the guidance of Elder Willie Collins. He is currently pursuing Biblical Studies at Lancaster Bible College, preparing himself to serve God’s people with excellence in preaching, teaching, and leadership.

​On Sunday, November 16, 2025, the congregation prayerfully voted him as Pastor, and he received the blessing of Founding Pastor Rev. Fletcher Jones. After the formal passing of the torch on November 23, 2025, Pastor Clark was officially installed as Senior Pastor on December 14, 2025.

Under his leadership, the church has moved forward in renewed structure, strengthened discipleship, and a deeper commitment to glorifying God. Holy Land Missionary Baptist Church has embraced the mission, vision, and identity of being a Truth & Life Church, grounded in John 14:6. Pastor Clark continues to lead with a burden for souls, a heart for sound doctrine, and a vision for a Christ-centered, Bible-grounded, Spirit-led church that impacts both members and the community.
